The SLU SportsCare Clinic also serves the student-athletes. It features physical therapy services and physician services for SLU students conveniently located at the Student Health Center in Marchetti Towers. Billiken student-athletes have some of the best physician coverage in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The physicians are tirelessly dedicated to the Billikens, covering athletic events and seeing the athletes on many evenings and weekends. An extensive referral network also is in place. Through the Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center, the Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute and SLUCare, Billiken student-athletes receive medical care from some of the nation's top specialists. These areas include allergy/asthma, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, nutrition, ophthamology, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, physical therapy, psychology and radiology.
